HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Harrison Rhodes closed out his rookie season in the Xfinity Series Saturday with a 24th-place finish in the Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Racing for the first time at the super-fast 1.5-mile track, Rhodes qualified 28th and ran as high as 19th during the afternoon.
“I learned a ton this year,” Rhodes said. “I raced at many of these tracks for the first time, and every lap was an education. We got in some good runs and had a lot of fun. I'm extremely proud of all my team for all their hard work this year and appreciative that Johnny Davis and Gary Keller gave me this opportunity. I'm very thankful for all the support that my family, girlfriend, friends, and fans have given me throughout this season. Also, thankful to God for safety and success as well as allowing me this opportunity!”
Rhodes finished 24th in Xfinity driver points.
