FONTANA, Calif. – Harrison Rhodes gained spots throughout the race and finished 25th in Saturday’s Drive4Clots.com 300 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Auto Club Speedway.
Rhodes, racing at the tough two-mile track for the first time, qualified 32nd but had moved into the top 25 by the race’s halfway point.
“We fought a tight race car, but we continued to make it better throughout the race,” Rhodes said. “I am extremely proud of all the hard work and effort that my team keeps putting forth every weekend. We are getting better as a team and hopefully working towards some top 20 finishes in the near future.”
The finish bumped Rhodes, driving the G&K Services #0 Chevrolet, forward a spot to 22nd in the Xfinity driver standings.
The series rolls on to Texas Motor Speedway April 10.
